What Are the Limitations of Team Member Roles on Ainfluencer?
acmp-rewritten
There are limitations, but they are not the ones usually described. They are not per role, because roles do not exist yet. They apply to every team member equally.
Please read this first
Roles are not available yet. You may have read elsewhere, including on older versions of these help pages, that you can assign a Campaign Manager, Finance Manager or Analyst role with different permissions. That feature is marked coming soon in the product and is not live. Every team member you add today is an Admin with the same access as you, including payments and your wallet. Only invite people you would trust with your budget.
The four real restrictions
The brand profile is owner only. A member cannot open it or change the brand name, description or logo.
Account password and email notification settings are owner only. Members manage those on their own account.
The Influencer content page is blocked. The sidebar still shows the link, but opening it returns the member to the dashboard.
The AI title and description writer is owner only. A member using it gets an error. The owner can generate the text, or it can be written by hand.
What is NOT restricted
What a team member can actually do today
| Area | Can a team member use it? |
|---|---|
| Campaigns, create, edit, pause, delete | Yes |
| Inbox, offers and chat with creators | Yes |
| Payments and the wallet | Yes |
| Scheduler and analytics | Yes |
| The brand profile and logo | No, owner only |
| The brand’s password and email settings | No. Members manage their own |
| Influencer content page | No. The sidebar still shows it, but it returns you to the dashboard |
Important
There is no view-only access and no payment-free access. Any team member can pay for an offer out of your wallet and can pause or delete a campaign. Treat adding a member as handing over the account.
Things that cut off access entirely
| Situation | Effect on members |
|---|---|
| You remove the member | Immediate. They are logged out of every session |
| Your plan ends or downgrades | Extra seats are released automatically, pending invitations first (oldest first), then the oldest members |
| Your account is suspended | Members see that the account cannot be accessed at the moment |
| You delete your account | Every member is logged out and pending invitations expire |
Good to know
A known quirk worth knowing: removing a member does not always free the seat straight away, because the seat counter decreases when a pending invitation is deleted or a plan changes, not when a member is removed. If you are blocked after removing someone, contact support and we will correct the count.
