Can You Extend the Deadline If the Influencer Needs More Time?
acmp-rewritten
Yes, and in most cases the creator can do it themselves without needing anything from you.
Three routes, depending on where the deal is
| Situation | Who changes the date | How |
|---|---|---|
| Not paid yet | You | In the payment pop-up. It saves immediately and the creator is not asked |
| Paid and scheduled | The creator | They use Extend Deadline, once per scheduled period, without needing your approval |
| Paid and scheduled | You | A revision request through Edit, which they must accept |
| Already failed | You | Restart the Deal by Extending the Date |
Important
A creator extending once without asking you is normal, not a fault and not a breach. They get one extension per scheduled period. Your money stays in escrow throughout and is only released when you approve the delivery.
If they need a second extension
They cannot take one. At that point either you raise a revision request with a new date, which they accept, or the deal runs out of time and your money is refunded automatically.
Being realistic about dates
Ainfluencer suggests five to seven days for the best results.
A date less than 24 hours away is refused at payment, and you are asked for a new one.
Good creators are usually booked a week or more ahead, so a tight date quietly narrows your options to whoever is free.
Why this helps you
One self-service extension is a sensible compromise. It saves a collaboration from dying over a delayed shipment or an illness without putting your money at risk, and the single-use limit stops a date slipping indefinitely.
