How Long Will It Take for Your Account to Be Reactivated After Making the Changes?

acmp-rewritten

There is no fixed time, and it is worth being straight about that rather than giving you a number we cannot keep.

The honest answer
A temporary suspension does not expire on its own. It is not a ban for a set number of days that lifts automatically. It lasts until a member of our team reviews your account and reactivates it, and the way to start that review is to submit an appeal.
How to get it reviewed
1
Open Profile and find the suspended account card.
2
Tap Appeal Suspension.
3
Read the reasons we recorded for the suspension.
4
Write your reason for appealing. This field is required.
5
Read the dos and don’ts and confirm you watched the short video.
6
Tap Submit Appeal. The button then reads Appeal Pending.
What to expect after you submit
Straight away
The button changes to Appeal Pending
Our team reviews it
A person reads your appeal and looks at the account
If approved
Your account becomes Active again and you are told by email, push and in the app
If denied
The card on your profile says so. No notification is sent for a denial
Good to know
If your appeal has been pending for more than about three business days, contact support and ask them to chase it. That is the point at which it is reasonable to follow up.
Important
One appeal per suspension. If it is denied, you cannot appeal that suspension again, so it is worth writing the appeal properly the first time rather than quickly.
Writing an appeal that helps
Address the reasons given, one by one. They are shown to you in the appeal screen.
Say what changed, or what you misunderstood.
Commit to the guidelines specifically, not in general terms.
Keep it short and calm. A person is reading it.
Why this helps you
Suspensions are decided and lifted by people rather than by an automatic script. That is slower than a timer, but it is also the reason a genuine mistake can be explained and reversed at all.
