How Can You Send Video Links or URLs to Influencers?
You can, but not until the offer is paid, with some exceptions. This is one of the most misunderstood rules on the platform, so here is exactly how it works.
What happens if you try before payment
Your message is simply not sent. A pop-up appears explaining why and offering you the choice to upgrade or to carry on chatting without the link. Nothing is hidden from you and nothing happens to your account for trying once.
Please do not worry
You may have read that sending a link can get your account suspended. That is not how it works. Flags never suspend anyone automatically. Chats are reviewed by our team, and only repeated, deliberate attempts to move a deal off the platform lead to a warning and, eventually, a manual decision.

So a YouTube reference video can be sent straight away. A link to your own site generally cannot, until the deal is funded.
What to do instead before payment
Send the reference as a file. Images and videos attach normally, see sending files in chat.
Use a YouTube link if your reference is a video.
Describe it in words, or put the detail in the campaign brief where it is allowed.
Pay the offer. Once it is funded you can share whatever you need.
Good to know
If a perfectly ordinary message is blocked, the filter has probably caught a number or a word like contact or email. Rephrase it without those and it will send.
Why this helps you
The rule exists to protect you as much as the creator. A deal moved off Ainfluencer loses escrow, which means you would be paying a stranger up front with no protection at all. Keeping it on the platform is what makes your money refundable if the work never arrives.
