Is There Any Flexibility in the Deadline, or Is It Strictly Enforced?

acmp-rewritten

Yes, there is real flexibility, and more of it than this page used to say. You can move your own deadline, and you do not need the brand’s permission to do it.

What this page used to get wrong
Correction to an earlier version of this page. It said an extension is a request that depends on the brand’s approval. It is not. You tap Extend Deadline, pick a date, and the date changes immediately. The brand is not asked and cannot refuse. A chat message is posted telling them you extended it.
How to extend
1
Open the deal chat in the app.
2
On the offer card tap Extend Deadline.
3
Pick the new delivery date. It must be later than the current one.
4
Tap Submit. It takes effect at once.
The real limits
RuleDetail
How many timesOnce per scheduled period
The counter resetsWhen a deal expires. So after a failure you get another one
How far aheadAny date in the future
When you cannotAfter the delivery is approved, or after the brand has been refunded
Good to know
Extend before the date, not after. Extending in time stops the expiry and refund timers from ever starting, which is much cleaner than rescuing a failed deal.
What happens if you neither extend nor deliver
The agreed date passes
Nothing yet. You can still deliver
2 days after
The deal expires. Money still in escrow
3 days after
The brand is refunded. You can no longer rescue it yourself
Courtesy still matters

The brand cannot stop you extending, but they can decline to work with you again and they can leave a review. A message explaining why, sent before the date, keeps a moved deadline from costing you a repeat client.

Why this helps you
Being able to move your own deadline without waiting on anyone is deliberately on your side: a brand who is asleep or on holiday cannot cost you a deal you were always going to deliver.
