Can you change content type mid-campaign, or only for future offers?
acmp-rewritten
A change to a campaign applies to future offers. Deals already agreed keep the terms they were agreed on, and changing one needs the creator to accept.
The two cases
| What happens | |
|---|---|
| Offers not yet sent | Pick up the new content type automatically |
| An offer still being negotiated | Discuss it in the chat and agree the new terms before payment |
| A deal already paid | Needs a revision, and the creator has to accept it |
| A deal already delivered | Too late to change. Approve or disapprove what was delivered |
Changing a paid deal
1
Open the deal in your inbox.
2
Use Edit on a Scheduled deal to send a revision.
3
The creator accepts or rejects it. They are not obliged to accept.
4
If the revision raises the price, you pay the difference. If it lowers it, the difference is refunded to your wallet.
5
If the creator rejects it, anything you paid for that revision returns to your wallet.
Important
Talk to the creator first. A content type is the job itself: a reel is not a story and neither is a static post. Changing it after someone has planned or filmed is a different ask from changing it before, and the fair answer is usually a price change too.
Why changing a live campaign is awkward
Creators offered against what they read. Their price and date were set for the old deliverable.
Open revisions close when a delivery is submitted, so a revision sent late may never be seen.
Revisions close automatically when money is released or refunded.
Good to know
If the change is substantial, create a new campaign instead. It keeps the brief honest for everyone offering, and campaigns waiting for review count toward your plan’s limit, so pause the old one to free a slot.
Why this helps you
Needing the creator’s agreement to change an agreed deal is the same protection that works in your favour elsewhere: nobody can unilaterally change what was agreed after money is in escrow.
