Ainfluencer Approval: Instagram & TikTok Requirements?

acmp-rewritten

The requirements are not the same on every platform, and the difference matters: a rule that applies to TikTok does not necessarily apply to Instagram.

The thing most guides get wrong
A private Instagram account can be connected and approved. You do not need to make it public. Sending us the verification code from that account already proves you own it, so the public rule is skipped for Instagram. It does apply to TikTok and YouTube.
What the review actually looks at
That the account is really yours, proved by the DM or by signing in.
Genuine engagement. Accounts with bought followers or engagement are what the review exists to catch.
Real posting activity. A dormant account is hard to place with a brand.
Content that fits the guidelines and the platform’s own rules.
The path from connected to earning
Pending Verification
Ownership is being confirmed by our team
Draft
Connected, but your media kit is not finished
Pending Admin Approval
Media kit done, waiting for review
Active
Approved. Brands can find you and you can send offers
Good to know
Draft is the most common place to get stuck, and it is not a rejection. It simply means the media kit questions are not finished. See why your account is in draft mode.
Important
After 5 rejected verification requests you cannot submit another for 7 days. If you are rejected, read the reasons and fix them before resubmitting.
Why this helps you
The review is why brands are willing to put money into escrow before you have made anything. It is the same check that keeps bought-follower accounts out of the marketplace you are competing in.
