Why Does my payment status show "Waiting Approval"?

acmp-rewritten

Waiting Approval means the creator has delivered and the money is sitting in escrow until you review it. Nothing is stuck. It is waiting on you.

What has happened
Step 1
You paid
The money went into escrow, not to the creator
›
Step 2
They delivered
A post link, or uploaded files
›
Step 3
Waiting Approval
Your decision is the next step
›
Step 4
You approve
The money is released to the creator
What to do
1
Open the Offers tab and go to the deal.
2
Look at Final Delivered Result in the sidebar, and the live post if there is one.
3
Check it against your brief: format, caption, hashtags, link, disclosure.
4
Click Approve it, or Disapprove it if it genuinely does not meet the brief.
Important
Leaving it on Waiting Approval holds up a creator’s payment for work they have already done. It also costs you: responsiveness feeds your brand score, and a higher tier ranks you better with creators.
If something is slightly wrong

Message them in the chat before you disapprove. A missing hashtag or a wrong link is usually fixed in minutes, and a creator waiting to be paid has every reason to fix it. Keep the status as it is while you ask: do not approve first, because approving releases the money.

Why this helps you
This status existing at all is the point of escrow. The creator can see the money is really there before they spend a day filming, and you can see the work before a penny leaves your account.
