Can you target influencers in multiple languages or countries?
acmp-rewritten
Yes to both. Countries and languages are each multi-select, and they are two separate questions in the campaign wizard. One rule changes the order, and it catches people out.
Where they appear in the brief
Step 1
Shipping question
Are you aiming to ship physical products?

Step 2
Countries
Multi-select, where your creators should be
›
Step 3
Language
Multi-select, the languages they speak
Each answer saves as you go, so you can stop and come back.
The rule that surprises people
If you answer YES to shipping physical products, you are asked which countries creators must live in for shipping, and the separate creator-location step is then skipped. You do not get asked twice. If you expected a second countries screen and it never appeared, that is why.
What each one actually does
| Setting | Multi-select? | What it controls |
|---|---|---|
| Countries | Yes | Where your target creators are located. With shipping turned on, this doubles as where you are willing to ship |
| Languages | Yes | The languages your target creators speak |
| Gender | No, one choice | Male, Female or All. See setting gender |
| Creator size | No, one choice | Nano, Micro, Macro, Mega, or all ranges |
Choosing well
Country and language are not the same thing. Picking Canada does not mean every creator posts in English, and picking Spanish does not mean they are in Spain.
Be generous at first. A very narrow combination can leave you with almost nobody to choose from. You can always narrow later.
If you ship, be realistic. Only list countries you will actually post a parcel to, because creators outside them cannot take part.
Why this helps you
Setting these on the campaign rather than filtering by hand each time means creators browsing the marketplace self-select against them. The offers that reach your inbox are already in the right countries and languages, so your time goes on negotiating rather than sorting.
