Can you offer physical products and choose to ship them to influencers?
acmp-rewritten
Yes. One of the questions in the campaign brief is Are you aiming to ship physical products to influencers? Answering yes changes what you are asked next.
What happens when you say yes
Step 1
You answer Yes
On the shipping question in the brief
›
Step 2
You pick countries
The countries creators must live in, so you can actually ship to them
›
Step 3
Location step skipped
You are not asked for creator countries again
Answering No instead takes you to the normal creator-location question.
Shipping a product is not the same as a gifting campaign
| Paid collaboration with shipping | Product Gifting and Seeding | |
|---|---|---|
| What the creator gets | Your agreed fee, plus the product you send | The product, instead of a fee |
| What you pay | The agreed fee, and postage | Postage and the product only |
| Campaign type | Paid Collaboration | A separate type on the picker |
| Requirement | None beyond the usual | Requires an active subscription |
Good to know
If your plan is to pay only in product, that is Product Gifting and Seeding, a different campaign type chosen at the start. If you are paying a fee and sending an item, stay on Paid Collaboration and answer yes to the shipping question.
Practical things to agree with the creator
Who pays postage, and whether that is inside the fee.
How long delivery takes, because the content cannot be made before the parcel lands.
Customs and duties on international shipments, which can delay a parcel for weeks.
Whether the product is returned afterwards, which is unusual but worth stating either way.
Important
Only list countries you will genuinely post to. A creator in a country you chose will apply in good faith, and withdrawing afterwards because shipping is impractical costs you the relationship.
Why this helps you
Being able to combine a fee with a product in a single brief means you can run a realistic campaign without forcing creators to buy your product first, which is one of the biggest reasons good creators decline otherwise reasonable offers.
