How to Reject Irrelevant Influencers?
acmp-rewritten
Declining an offer is a normal part of running a campaign, and doing it properly makes your next round of offers better.
How to reject an offer
1
Go to the Offers tab.
2
Click View Offer.
3
Click the red Reject button in the top banner.
4
Tick the reasons that apply.
5
Add a short note for the creator.
6
Confirm, and use the next step to tighten your campaign targeting.
Good to know
The reasons you tick are not just politeness. They feed back into how your campaign is targeted, so a rejection with honest reasons makes the next offers more relevant.
Reject, or negotiate?
| If the problem is | Do this |
|---|---|
| The price | Counter the offer. The first number is rarely final and most creators expect a negotiation |
| The deliverable, for example a Story when you wanted a Reel | Counter. Ask for the format you want at a price that reflects it |
| The date | Counter with a date that works |
| Audience fit, wrong country or wrong demographic | Reject. This one cannot be negotiated away |
| Content quality | Reject, politely and briefly |
Rejecting costs you nothing, but countering is often the better move. A creator whose audience is right and whose price is high is a negotiation. A creator whose audience is wrong is not.
Write the note, even when it is short
Be brief and specific. One sentence is enough.
Do not promise a future campaign you are not going to run.
Stay professional. Creators talk to each other, and your reputation on the platform affects how many offers you get.
Why this helps you
Your response rate feeds your brand score, and answering offers within a day earns points whether you accept or decline. A fast, clear no is worth more to you than a slow silence, and it costs the creator far less time too.
